I am taking part in a KAL on Ravelry. We are working our way through the alphabet and every two weeks we cast on for the next letter. I was getting a bit behind on finishing my socks because I was spending so much time working on assignments for college, so when we got to I, I was getting a bit desperate to knit something quick and easy and I came up with these socks. They were a good mindless project to work on while trying not to fall asleep at night :) . And then my "I-don't-like-wearing-knit-things-against-my-skin" daughter claimed them for herself! She said they feel different on her feet than her arms or hands, so they are good. Teenagers :P
Well, here is the pattern and if you make a pair, let me know as I would love to see (I like looking at pictures :D ). I have not had anyone test the pattern and I have only made one pair, so if you find any errors, please let me know.

Thank you Tracy, I have just completed your sock pattern and am thrilled. this was my first attempt at knitting socks. It was easy to follow and to do. And they fit well. Thanks again.
Brilliant pattern, extremely easy to do and I am now addicted to knitting socks :-) thankyou so much for sharing this pattern
I'm thinking of trying this shortly (never knit a sock before but your instructions seem very straight forward).
Thanks for sharing.
Do you use 4 dp needles to place the 12 sts on - then knit with a 5th? I am confused. Bev
Hi Bev, yes, I have sts on 4 needles and knit with the 5th
